Tom Dodd, our Chef responsible for Events, has a passion for the food from this part of Europe and is a fan of the award winning Spanish restaurant Barrafina in London. This Michelin star Soho restaurant does not take bookings. Queues snake out of the front door and along the street every lunch and dinner service. Not only a well qualified and experienced chef, Tom has an engaging teaching presence and you will have a really good evening, as well as coming away with skills and recipes you can use over and over again.

    Showcasing ingredients from the South West - apples 

    Tonight's 'Chef's Table' introduces Aimee Applegate, Vaughan's Kitchen Apprentice Chef who is currently on the prestigious 3 year Specialised Chefs course at Bournemouth & Poole College. Born in Bath and brought up in Frome, she has a passion for produce from the area, so she will be making for you a three course meal that uses ingredients that are synonomous with the South West. These dishes will form part of her final Royal Academy of Culinary Arts exam next summer.

    The star on tonight's menu is the apple, plentiful in this corner of the country, as is the cider that is well-known to be of the best quality.  The theme also pays homage to her name!  Aimee will cook the dishes for you whilst telling you what she is doing and why.  You then enjoy the meal with some matching wines and beverages.
