It looks as if it is difficult to make but here's your chance to find out just how easy it is, once you know the tips. Don't worry, there will be no raw fish, wriggling tenticals or Fugu (Poisons puffer fish). You will learn the art of cooking sticky sushi rice plus knife skills to help you make different types of beautiful looking sushi. Delicious, nutritious and interesting, this will help you wow your family and friends plus cheer up your packed lunches!

Sushi is such an attractive food item and growing in popularity. You can find it in most supermarkets now but, once you have made your own and tasted how good it is, you will realise that the mass producd versions are totally inferior.
Learn the secrets involved in making:
- sticky rice
- Tamagoyaki (sweet sushi egg) and many other tasty fillings.
- how to fill and roll to make a number of different types of sushi (you'll learn the names and pronounciation as well
- no need to have raw fish as there are plenty of other fillings and flavours that work well.
- tasty Japanese steamed buns to complete the experience
The class is a busy hands-on session with aprons, equipment and ingredients all being provided.
Whatever your skill level, the small group size (maximum 10) enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.
A light supper with wine will complete the experience and you can take away with you any sushi that is left.
As well as being tasty, attractive and most impressive to those that don't know how to make it, sushi is a fabulous food that is suitable for everyone - it is gluten and dairy free and can be made to suit vegetarians. Let us know when you book.
