A Night in Portugal | Jan 30th | £60

Wednesday 7.00pm - 9.30pm | Led by Peter Vaughan

Peter Vaughan has worked with many chefs over the years from all over the world.  He loves to learn about different cuisines and their influences.  Although Portuguese cuisine has a strong Mediterranean influence, at one time the country had many colonies and the influence of spices brought from those places makes it an interesting 'fusion'. Join this class if you’d like to learn about what is now becoming highly respected in top end restaurants in London. Portuguese cuisine has never been in the limelight for so many reasons but at last people are discovering the produce, wine and talented chefs.

During the evening you will learn the secrets of making amazing:

  • Cod croquettes
  • Delicious homemade aioli
  • Peri Peri - Nandos eat your heart out as this will be amazing!
  • the infamous Portuguese Natas (little custard tarts, as seen on GBBO 2017)

The class is a busy hands-on session. All equipment, ingredients and aprons are provided PLUS we do the washing up!

Whatever your skill level the small group size (maximum 10) enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.

You will sit down to supper (with a glass of wine!) plus there may be some goodies to take home.
