Juanita's Kitchen (Masterchef) | Apr 7th | £120

Sunday 11.00am - 4.00pm| Led by Juanita Hennessey

Following the success of Juanita's previous sessions, we are delighted to welcome her back to Vaughan's Cookery School to offer another amazing sounding menu. If you are a fan of MasterChef, you will remember her as one of the four finalists in 2016 who consistently produced fabulous tasting dishes (according to John Torode and Gregg Wallace!) that looked amazing on the plate.  We are fortunate that she lives in Wiltshire and is passionate about local produce.

She is as charismatic off screen as on (or even more so) and, as well as being very gifted with combining ingredients and creating wonderful dishes, during the course of the series, she demonstrated her ability to present her food in an artistic and enticing way.

The bonus to the day will be all her 'back stories' about being on the programme and you will find out just what it is like behind the scenes on TV.

The menu for this session:

  • Turkish spiced quail, cumin flatbreads, green olive salsa and orange dressing
  • ‘Wild Meatballs’ with hand rolled pici pasta – Pheasant meatballs, pici pasta, tomato and basil sauce
  • Cardamom poached apricots with home-made shortbread

Whatever your skill level the small group size (maximum 10) enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.

A light lunch of what you have made, with wine (and Juanita!), will complete the experience and there may be some food to take away with you.
