South West Chef's Table | Oct 11th | £50

Friday 7pm - 10pm | Led by Aimee Applegate

Showcasing ingredients from the South West - apples

Tonight's 'Chef's Table' introduces Aimee Applegate, Vaughan's Kitchen Apprentice Chef who is currently on the prestigious 3 year Specialised Chefs course at Bournemouth & Poole College. Born in Bath and brought up in Frome, she has a passion for produce from the area, so she will be making for you a three course meal that uses ingredients that are synonymous with the South West. These dishes will form part of her final Royal Academy of Culinary Arts exam next summer.

The star on tonight's menu is the apple, plentiful in this corner of the country, as is the cider that is well-known to be of the best quality. The theme also pays homage to her name! Aimee will cook the dishes for you whilst telling you what she is doing and why. You then enjoy the meal with some matching wines and beverages.

Wonderful food that is cooked in front of you. Came home with some great ideas an tips on how to cook better and have less waste.   Ian Drew
