1st May is International Labour Day and in Mexico a national holiday (in UK the public holiday is on the Monday after). Known as ‘Dia de Trabajo’ in Spanish, everything shuts and people gets out onto the streetswith parades and deminstrations to show worker solidarity. Naturally this will cuminate in a party, with lots of eating and drinking. Along with the Day of the dead ‘ Dia de Muertos’ this is one of the biggest festive events in the Mexican calendar.

Chef's Table' is a popular trend in London and has become a feature of upmarket restaurants. Watch your food being prepared in front of you - see raw ingredients transformed into delicious dishes right before your eyes. Hear Chef's anecdotes, hints and tricks whilst enjoying fantastic food and wine. Peter is the perfect chef to host a Chef’s Table as he will share his infectious enthusiasm for all things edible!
This Chef's Table focuses on a three course meal with authentic Mexico food that would be cooked for such an event. This is the home of chocolate, tomatoes, chillies & avocado but Mexico is also the origin of corn so, naturally, this will take centre stage and all dishes will be gluten free.
There will be wine to go with the meal and non-alcoholic Mexican-inspired drinks as an alternative.

Chilli will be served on the side, so everyone can pimp up their food to the required level of heat
The price covers food and drink.
Suitable for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans ( advance notice). Most dietary requirement can be accommodated if notified when booking.
The evening is an eating experience first and foremost and so there is no hands-on cooking by the customer.
