Middle Eastern Mezza | Mar 19th | £60

Friday 7.00pm to 9.30pm | Led by Peter Vaughan

What a perfect time to learn more about Middle Eastern Cuisine - on the eve of the Persian New Year! The celebrations that take place on 20th March are known as Nowruz and are believed to go back as far as 555BC.
Peter has always been fascinated by the clever use of spices in this cuisine since working with an Iranian chef as an apprentice.  He learnt some of the secrets of Middle Eastern dishesand these proved to be a great success when he had his restaurant, The Bistro, Devizes. Although the traditional recipes inspired him, as always,, he has given these classics his own 'twist' and produced some popular and delicious items, all of which you can re-create at home quite easily.
Master the art of producing a traditional mezza:
  • houmous
  • baba ganoush (roasted aubergine dip)
  • falafels
  • za'atar
  • flatbreads
