There's is nothing quite so special as finishing of a meal with a delicious dessert.  Jayne Annan is our baking 'Queen'.  Having trained at Cordon Bleu, taught at Leith's School of Food and Wine, set up a bakery in Thailand to provide employment for young woman, she has all the knowledge required for teaching culinary skills. Importantly, she also understands about how people learn most effectively. For this session she has chosen a 'show-off' dessert, a twist on a family favourite plus a light and creamy one that finishes off a meal perfectly, but doesn't require you to be in the kitchen for hours.

Jayne is a wonderful tutor and so patient.  It is incredible how much can be learned in a short time.  Will definitely recommend this to friends - CAS

Desserts on the menu::

  • Profiteroles with a yummy chocolate topping, that also doubles as an easy sauce to go with ice-cream
  • Apple crumble with a tasty and nutritious walnut and wholemeal topping
  • Lemon posset - light, refreshing and easy to make, once you have all the tips and tricks.

This cookery course is hands-on and busy. All ingredients, equipment and aprons provided.

Whatever your skill level the small group size enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched.  You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.

Supper, with wine, will complete the experience and plenty of goodies to take away with you.

It is suitable for vegetarians. Let us know when you book.
