Aimed at those already in the catering industry or wanting to gain employment in it or run their own food business. This one day a week format is popular with anyone looking to upgrade their skills or attain an externally validated qualification.
Many people already enjoy cooking, but would like to enhance their skills and learn tips and techniques from experienced chefs.
A thorough grounding in the 'basics' including all aspects of good kitchen practice will help further a career in any aspect of the food business or givce a 'shine' to your cooking skills at home and increase your confidence in the kitchen from whatever level you start. This CTH Award is an internationally recognised qualification.

Peter Vaughan, an award winning chef and member of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, heads the team. He has worked in a variety of fine dining restaurants and now has his own restaurant and event catering business, as well as the cookery school. Peter is known for his infectiously enthusiastic teaching style that always leaves you inspired.
